Speaker Biography

Linda Finley has worked more than 25 years in all aspects of IT and many business areas, performing in various roles in the private, not-for-profit and public sectors, all leading to her enthusiastic interest in the practice and performance of business architecture.  Linda believes that business architecture can “illuminate” organizational improvement opportunities, change roadmaps, and strategic vision. Linda has been very active in the business architecture community in the Twin Cities over the last few years; launching the successful Twin Cities Business Architecture Forum in 2010 and engaging fellow charter members Target Corporation, Cargill, Thrivent Financial, Express Scripts, the State of MN, and Metro State University.

Linda is a member of the Board of Directors for the Business Architecture Guild, an international Business Architecture professional association, and a primary author of the BIZBOK, a Guide to the Business Architecture Body of Knowledge.  Linda serves as the Collaboration Chair for the Business Architecture Guild Board and is looking forward to creating plentiful opportunities for professional community members to participate in the creation of BIZBOK content, and to creating our local chapter strategy and framework.

Linda started her career with Prudential as a financial analyst, moving quickly into the role of Business Analyst.  Advancing to enterprise architect and Vice President of Business Delivery after 17 years; she joined Governor Ventura’s leadership team for the State of MN.  After serving several years as the technology leader in MN, Linda was CIO for NOVON and then moved to Trissential to focus on Leadership, Strategy Formation and Business Architecture.   She is a graduate of the University of MN and the University of St Catherine, a frequent conference speaker and writer, and has recently started her own advisory firm, Leadership Advantage.
